Serenity

I'd just like to say that I love the shepherd and Wash alot, and their loss really god damn sadden me. No more conscience, no more wisecracks. They'll still be there I know.

I'd just like to say Joss Whedon is a really good writer/director. The universe of Firefly has (though never explicitly *raises eyebrow*) taught about crazy western antics, bar brawls, badly pronounced chinese curses, and family.

Then he goes and kill off the pilot and the priest. Poor Zoe, she really wanted a baby too, i really fucking shocked when he died. Gave me a dose of reality. And the shepherd, he got killed when he settled down. And his mysterious history was never cleared up. I kept going through the show thinking if this was just a bad dream for all of them, that they would all wake up from.

Nope, didnt happen. Shit, shit and more shit happened to them.

I admire the way the captain and the rest went through with this. Like adults. So sad. Very sad. I'm very sad after the happy idyllic 14 episodes of Firefly, and this sobering Serenity.

At least River's more lucid now. And the captain's the captain. And Zoe's zoe. And the doc and kaylee got together, that's good... and Jayne's jayne. I hope Inara and the captain get together. They'll go on.

Everyone will go on, won't they? I mean, some will break when something gets really wrong. I think that's really sad, but there'll be others that will strive on, and that's why the human race is the most profilic sore on mother earth. And that's why humanity is so ugly yet beautiful at the same time.

Here's to Joss Whedon and his piece of art that the audience gets. And appreciates.

And fuck FOX networks for ruining the Browncoats' fun.

In other news, Jonnie has like a dozen nuclei for stories now. Start on stories or think of more ideas? Why am I always thinking in black or white? Do whatever you feel like, Jonnie!
